A representative of GPI Group became a member of the Public Council of NUH “Baiterek”

Partner of the GPI Group of Companies, Chairman of the Council for Sustainable Development and ESG of NPP Atameken, Yulia Yakupbaeva joined the Public Council of JSC National Managing Holding «Baiterek».

The Public Council, approved on October 29 this year, consisted of 11 people: representatives of the Holding and Civil Society.

The announcements of the competition for the election of members of the Public Council of the Holding were published by the Working Group on the Internet resource and the pages of the Holding on social networks. The competitive selection and election procedures were carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Public Councils” and the Model Regulation on the Public Council.

The Public Council is called upon to increase the efficiency, openness, transparency and the level of public confidence in the activities of Baiterek, protect the interests of society, prevent and resolve social conflicts, as well as involve the population in the anti-corruption process. The council can also conduct a public examination of Baiterek’s draft decisions, and then send its recommendations to the management of the holding.

According to the legislation, the composition of the Council is approved for 3 years.
