Invitation to a Study Tour on Climate Finance in Germany

On October 14, 2025, German Ambassador to Kazakhstan Monika Iversen presented Yulia Yakupbayeva, Chair of the Council for Sustainable Development and ESG of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, with an official invitation to a study tour to Germany dedicated to climate finance.

The visit, which will take place from November 30 to December 6, 2025, in Berlin and Frankfurt, includes meetings with leading financial and educational institutions working in the field of sustainable development and the green economy.

Key points of the program will include visits to:

KfW Banking Group – one of the world’s largest development banks, actively financing climate projects;
Frankfurt School of Finance & Management – ​​a leading educational center on sustainable finance;
Finance in Motion GmbH – a company specializing in investments in projects with positive social and environmental impact.

This trip will be an important opportunity to exchange experiences, learn from best international practices, and further promote ESG and climate finance principles in Kazakhstan.
